Lorde is embarking on her first world tour in years! The “Royals” hitmaker is returning to the global stage in 2025, roughly seven years after her Melodrama World Tour concluded. The new tour, titled Ultrasound, will kick off in the United States in the fall of 2025. “Ultrasound. I am going on tour in support of my new album, Virgin,” Lorde captioned an Instagram post, announcing the big news, in May 2025. “Very proud and excited to be bringing my most talented friends in support. … Come see what’s under the skin.”

When Was the Last Time Lorde Went on Tour?
Lorde went on her Melodrama world tour from 2017 to 2018. She then went on her Solar Power concert tour from 2022 to 2023, promoting her album of the same title.
In a rare interview with the pop artist, the “Tennis Court” artist opened up about the creation of her single “What Was That” and its accompanying music video.
“It was the first music of my rebirth that had come out of me, and I felt it start the day that we did that,” Lorde told Document in May 2025. “I had come back from London to New York after this period of great turbulence in my personal life. Becoming single, but also really facing my body stuff head-on, and starting to feel my gender broadening a little bit. Just being back in my house and feeling this big wave of grief. I just kept thinking, What was all of that?”
