{"id":11799,"date":"2025-08-07T19:06:05","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T19:06:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umyonews.site\/index.php\/2025\/08\/07\/sweet-magnolias-season-5-finale-isnt-written-as-series-ending\/"},"modified":"2025-08-07T19:06:05","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T19:06:05","slug":"sweet-magnolias-season-5-finale-isnt-written-as-series-ending","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umyonews.site\/index.php\/2025\/08\/07\/sweet-magnolias-season-5-finale-isnt-written-as-series-ending\/","title":{"rendered":"Sweet Magnolias Season 5 Finale Isn&#8217;t Written as Series Ending"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><em>Sweet Magnolias<\/em> fans don\u2019t want to think about the show coming to an end, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/sweet-magnolias-showrunner-talks-season-4-burning-questions-who-died\/\">but does the season 5 finale<\/a> set things up just in case the show isn\u2019t renewed?<\/p>\n<p>During an exclusive interview with <em>Us Weekly<\/em> while promoting Hallmark\u2019s <em>Providence Fall<\/em>s,<strong> JoAnna Garc\u00eda Swisher<\/strong> teased how season 5 wraps up the story, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t think that it\u2019s written as the end by any stretch of the imagination. But we\u2019ve also gotten to be here for five seasons and tell an incredible story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Swisher, 45, remained hopeful that there would be more to come.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would continue to keep it going if all of the chips fall in that way,\u201d she noted. \u201cI think everybody would be excited and eager to do that. But if this is it for us, we have no control over it except we are just trying to do what we think our fans will like and enjoy. [With season 4], we almost had to burn it down [with Bill\u2019s death] for that fresh start. And this season, you really get that. With that comes exciting and new ventures, possibilities and relationships. It\u2019s twisty and turny \u2014 that\u2019s for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Based on <strong>Sherryl Woods<\/strong>\u2019 novels,<em> Sweet Magnolias<\/em> tells the story of three women who have been best friends since childhood as they navigate their romantic lives, careers and growing families. After premiering in 2020, Sweet Magnolias spent three seasons covering a mere few months\u2019 time for the citizens of small town Serenity, South Carolina.
