How have we come to this?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Co-creator Jack added that he, Stephen and director Philip Barantini<\/strong> were fascinated by the concept of male rage, and they began \u201cquestioning with some intensity\u201d who they were as men. \u201cThat is a journey I\u2019ve never gone on as a writer before, and it scared me and excited me because it felt like we had something to say,\u201d Jack pointed out.<\/p>\n The final episode of Adolescence<\/em> ends with Jamie calling his dad to reveal he\u2019s changing his plea to guilty.
