After attracting criticism for admitting that she uses a GLP-1 medication<\/a> to help lose weight, Janelle Rohner<\/strong> claimed she refunded fans who purchased her health programs.<\/p>\n

In a TikTok<\/a> video shared by the wellness influencer, 37, on Sunday, April 27, Rohner responded to a fan who asked, \u201cHave you refunded anyone yet?\u201d in the comments section. The fan\u2019s question received 817 Likes in three hours.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes,\u201d Rohner, a certified macro coach, replied to the comment in the early hours of Monday, April 28.<\/p>\n

Rohner\u2019s update came after she told fans in a TikTok<\/a> video posted three days prior that she was \u201cwilling\u201d to refund anybody who purchased one of her \u201c30 Day Shred\u201d classes or \u201cMacros 101 course\u201d within the last 11 months. While the former class claims to help customers lose weight, the latter teaches them how to calculate macros, short for macronutrients which are mainly carbs, protein and fat according to Healthline<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHealth and wellness influencer Janelle Rohner had been documenting her weight loss journey long before she admitted to using a GLP-1 to help her progress. The nurse initially kickstarted her wellness journey after giving birth to her two daughters, looking for solutions to shed the extra pounds she gained during pregnancy. In the earlier TikTok video, Rohner explained why she revealed that she had been taking an undisclosed GLP-1 medication to help her achieve her weight loss goals. \u201cI\u2019m not asking for sympathy, I\u2019m just trying to do the right thing and I\u2019m trying to be honest now,\u201d she told fans. \u201cI could have kept this a secret, I could\u2019ve gone on and on for years and not told, and I don\u2019t want to do that. I don\u2019t want to be that influencer. I haven\u2019t done a Shred class since last year because I just didn\u2019t feel right about doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rohner added that while she understood that some may view her in a different light after learning she uses GLP-1, she believed her wellness offerings retain merit. \u201cI still wholeheartedly believe in tracking macros and the workouts that I do and my classes,\u201d she explained. \u201cI did not take a GLP-1 because I don\u2019t believe in my classes and macros wasn\u2019t working. I did it for other personal and health reasons to use as a tool to hit my goals. And if people felt deceived by that, I really, truly am sorry, and I am willing to do a refund for anybody who bought a class in the last 11 months.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rohner, a nurse with two children, added in the video that she takes \u201canti-anxiety, antidepressant medication,\u201d which has also \u201chelped me to lose weight.\u201d<\/p>\n
