Sandra Bullock<\/strong><\/a> and Keanu Reeves<\/strong><\/a> are finally reuniting for a new movie, Us Weekly<\/em> can confirm.<\/p>\n

Bullock and Reeves, both 60, will be starring in a \u201cpropulsive romantic thriller\u201d from Amazon MGM Studios. Screenwriter Noah Oppenheim<\/strong>, who previously penned films Jackie<\/em> and The Maze Runner<\/em>, will write the script.<\/p>\n

No additional details of Bullock and Reeves\u2019 new project have yet to be shared.<\/p>\n

The last time Bullock and Reeves worked together was on the 2006 romantic drama The Lake House<\/em>. Before that, they costarred on the 1994 thriller Speed<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Last year, Bullock and Reeves attended a special 30th anniversary event<\/a> for Speed in October 2024. The pair got together to reflect on their time working on the action film that took place on a bus.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe knew we were doing something wacky,\u201d Reeves said of the film\u2019s plot while Bullock joked, \u201cI was behind the wheel of a projectile, so I was just happy to be alive at the end of the day.<\/p>\n

Bullock and Reeves formed a fast friendship<\/a> on set. Bullock recalled how Reeves was a total gentleman on set especially when the actress had wardrobe mishaps.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had this dress that was very light, and I had a bodysuit underneath,\u201d she shared. \u201cWhen we started rehearsing, I noticed that the velocity of air would shoot the skirt over my head, the bottom part. He had to keep my integrity intact by keeping things that didn\u2019t need to be seen on a 17-foot screen hidden. That\u2019s what I remember of that day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Months before reuniting with Reeves, Bullock expressed her desire to share the screen<\/a> with her friend one more time before time runs out.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore I die, before I leave this planet, I do think that Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera,\u201d the Oscar winner said during a joint appearance with Reeves on a May 2024 episode of the \u201c50 MPH\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

Bullock added that she didn\u2019t care if she and Reeves were in \u201cwheelchairs\u201d or \u201cwalkers\u201d she wanted to make it happen \u2014 with the right script of course.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf someone writes something brilliant and it puts us in the right place at the right time,\u201d she added. \u201cYou can\u2019t force it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reeves echoed similar sentiments.<\/p>\n
