A 10-year-old and a 4-year-old died in the crash, police said.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" data-v-24ed9219=\"\">The Hurricanes had no immediate comment on Hayes\u2019 condition. Police said their investigation was continuing and that alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.<\/p>\n<p displaynav=\"true\" class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" data-v-24ed9219=\"\">Hayes played in 12 games as a true freshman for Miami last season, mostly on special teams.
