Cassie Ventura<\/strong><\/a> bravely testified<\/a> in the highly publicized sex trafficking trial of her ex Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a> in May 2025. As a result, she was thrust back into the public eye, and details from her personal life resurfaced. At the time, she sued him for sexual and physical abuse. The exes reached a settlement on the lawsuit that year. Per USA Today<\/em><\/a>, the 2023 lawsuit indicated that Cassie\u2019s parents were \u00a0\u201cskeptical of [Combs\u2019] displays of wealth,\u201d when the rapper \u201cbegan renting apartments for the early career entertainer around 2008 or 2009 in Manhattan near his own New York City residence.\u201d<\/p>\n Previously, Cassie briefly opened up about her upbringing during a 2008 interview,<\/a> according to Men\u2019s Journal<\/em><\/a>. She called her childhood \u201cfun\u201d and described it as \u201ccarefree\u201d while discussing her parents.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m from Connecticut. My mom is an army brat, and my dad is a navy brat,\u201d Cassie said at the time. \u201cMy parents are still together. My childhood was pretty carefree. \u2026 My dad is Filipino, and my mom is Mexican, Black and West Indian.\u201d<\/p>\n Cassie currently shares two children<\/a> with her husband \u2014 Sunny and Frankie \u2014 and she\u2019s pregnant with her third child.<\/p>\n Cassie was 19 years old when she first met Diddy in 2005. The Bad Boy Records founder was 37 at the time. Cassie is now 38 years old, and she will turn 39 in August 2025.
