Zach Gilford<\/strong><\/a> isn\u2019t just a Bravo fan, he\u2019s a viewer with some hot takes \u2014 starting with Team Craig Conover<\/strong><\/a> over Team Paige DeSorbo<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m Team Craig, on the record,\u201d Gilford, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> while discussing season 3 of Criminal Minds: Evolutio<\/em>n. \u201cI haven\u2019t followed it that closely. I just saw the last episode of the Southern Charm<\/em> reunion, but [I think] she did him a little dirty. Although if you watch the show, it was like, \u2018Bro, she\u2019s just not that into you.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Gilford praised himself on being a big Southern Charm<\/em> fan, adding, \u201cI\u2019ve watched it since the beginning, and it\u2019s just, like, I don\u2019t understand how it is just a constant train wreck starting from season 1. \u2026 I think it\u2019s been cool to see them all do their version of growing up, though.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Gilford did see Conover\u2019s perspective<\/a> more, he admitted that he isn\u2019t as up to date on Summer House<\/em>. In fact, Gilford may be one of the few Bravo fans who would rather opt out of situations where shows overlap, as on Winter House<\/em> or Peacock\u2019s The Traitors<\/em>.<\/p>\n

During the coronavirus pandemic, the singer admitted\u00a0she was obsessed with the drama.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019ve never made a secret of my love for reality TV and, during lockdown, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhen they do Winter House<\/em> and Craig comes over and Austen [Kroll]<\/strong> is there, I\u2019m like, \u2018You guys should stay on Southern Charm.\u2019 I kind of hate it when they bring all the reality stars together. That\u2019s just me,\u201d he explained to Us. \u201cWhen you bring in characters from all the [reality TV] shows and do an Avengers of reality TV, [I get taken out of the show] because this is the least real thing in the world. These people would never have anything to do with each other. Some people like it, though.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gilford\u2019s surprising insight also extends to Below Deck.<\/em> As Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em> fans know, Gilford has a bone to pick with most of the cast after previously questioning<\/a> how much they complain.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love Below Deck<\/em>. I\u2019m so far behind. I\u2019m, like, two seasons behind \u2014 but they\u2019re such babies. They\u2019re the biggest babies in the world,\u201d he quipped. \u201c[They get] to sleep for nine hours. I\u2019m like, \u2018Are you kidding?\u2019 \u2018The job is so hard.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018It\u2019s two days.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Gilford used his own experience to try to relate to the Below Deck<\/em> cast, adding, \u201cFirst of all, I\u2019m a parent. I\u2019m like, \u2018That\u2019s all day for the next 18 years.\u2019 Second of all, I used to lead backpacking trips for high school kids in Alaska. So I would be in the mountains in a tent, sleeping in the dirt for four weeks and these kids\u2019 lives are on me. So you never sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cI never was like, \u2018This is so hard.\u2019 You\u2019re making thousands of dollars to work on a yacht.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite his criticism, Gilford wouldn\u2019t pass up<\/a> a chance to appear on an episode of Below Deck<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The hit Bravo series introduced viewers to the lives of crew members who reside and work on a superyacht during charter season. Below Deck quickly became a major franchise for the network, with spinoffs including Below Deck [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI would love to be a guest stew or deckhand,\u201d he told Us<\/em>. \u201cBut the shows are so fun. I only have time for that. When I did WWHL, I was with one of the OG Housewives, so I binged that season of her show. I was like, \u2018I\u2019m kind of into this. But I don\u2019t have time.\u2019 I can\u2019t have another reality show because besides that it\u2019s Survivor<\/em> and Top Chef<\/em> \u2014 and then I\u2019m done with reality TV.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gilford\u2019s main focus has remained on playing fictional killer Elias Voit on Criminal Minds<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n
