Savannah Chrisley<\/strong> <\/a>has exciting plans for her future now that she\u2019s finished advocating for her parents Todd<\/strong> and Julie<\/strong> to be released from prison.<\/p>\n

After Todd and Julie were pardoned<\/a> by President Donald Trump<\/strong> earlier this week and released, Savannah, 27, told People<\/em> on Friday, May 30 that she had a new personal goal in mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cPersonally, my whole goal was to travel to 30 countries by the time I turned 30,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cI will be 28 in August. So right now I\u2019m like, alright, now\u2019s the perfect time. Mom and dad are home. I can travel to my 30 countries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, were behind bars after being indicted on fraud charges in 2019. While they each maintained their innocence, the Chrisley Knows Best<\/em> couple<\/a> were found guilty in 2022. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while his wife was set to serve seven years.<\/a> Their sentences were reduced by nearly two years in 2024.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSavannah Chrisley is opening up about how her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, will celebrate their reunion after being released from prison. \u201cMy parents have not spoken to each other, heard each other\u2019s voices or seen each other in the past two and a half years,\u201d the 27-year-old told a local news outlet on Wednesday, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Savannah worked tirelessly behind the scenes in an effort to secure a presidential pardon \u2013 an effort that paid off when Trump granted one on Tuesday, May 27.<\/p>\n

Addressing the media<\/a> on Friday, May 30, in a press conference alongside her dad, Savannah touched on what she thought were some of the myths about how she managed to help obtain pardons for her parents.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe biggest misconception right now is that I either paid for a pardon or slept for a pardon,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf people knew the countless hours and the money and the time that I spent going to DC, literally without a meeting scheduled,\u201d Savannah continued. \u201cAnd I just got on a plane and went and said I\u2019m gonna be in the right room at the right time and meet the right people. I fought hard and I was exhausted and I begged for meetings.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savannah added that she didn\u2019t use her parents\u2019 celebrity to gain special favor with the current administration.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople think, \u2018Oh, you\u2019re a celebrity, you have money,\u2019 that we got an upper hand and we didn\u2019t,\u201d she insisted. \u201cI had to fight and I was relentless and that\u2019s how it happened. Finally, people listened. So for me, that would be something that people just don\u2019t quite understand.\u201d<\/p>\n
