Hailee Steinfeld<\/a> <\/strong>has already starred in a wide variety of popular franchises, and her fame is only increasing. The actress first gained widespread attention with her Oscar-nominated role in the 2010 film True Grit<\/em>, and since then, she\u2019s become a household name. As a beloved actress and hitmaker, Steinfeld\u2019s relationships have also attracted public attention. Over the years, she\u2019s been linked to a few major stars, but in 2023, she\u2019s began her relationship with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen<\/a><\/strong>. Josh Allen<\/h2>\n

Allen and Steinfeld were first seen together on May 26, 2023, sparking dating rumors when they were spotted in New York City, where they appeared to be on a date<\/a>. While Allen seemed affectionate with Steinfeld, it wasn\u2019t immediately clear if they were officially dating. Although Steinfeld typically keeps her personal life private<\/a>, a source close to her told People <\/em>in June 2023 that they were \u201cgetting to know each other.\u201d Another insider shared that they were \u201chaving fun\u201d in May. Just two months after their initial sighting, Steinfeld and Allen were photographed kissing while vacationing together in Mexico<\/a> over the Fourth of July weekend.<\/p>\n

Allen has been a Buffalo Bills player since 2018. After his first season, he was named team captain in 2019. He has been the starting QB ever since, leading the Bills to impressive seasons and earning two Pro Bowl selections. He also showed tremendous support for his teammate<\/a> Damar Hamlin<\/strong> following his terrifying on-field collapse in early 2023. Before being spotted with Steinfeld, Allen had been in a relationship with former college cheerleader Brittany Williams <\/a><\/strong>from 2015 to 2023.<\/p>\n

In 2024, Steinfeld demonstrated her support for Allen throughout the NFL season as their relationship remained strong. That October, the two dressed in matching Halloween costumes as ringmasters, hosting their own Halloween party, which they called \u201cJosh & Hailee\u2019s Circus Showdown.\u201d Steinfeld shared photos of the event on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On November 30, 2024, the couple announced their engagement, sharing a photo on Instagram<\/a> of Allen on one knee, proposing amidst candles and framed by a large flower-covered arch. The caption hinted that the proposal took place a little over a week prior, on Nov. 22, with the date \u201c\u267e\ufe0f 11\u202222\u202224 \u267e\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

The following year, in an edition of her newsletter, Steinfeld shared more details about the day of her engagement and the beautiful photos they got to share. \u201cOver the past few years, Kat [Temkin] has photographed almost every big life moment: birthdays, work trips from London to Hong Kong, red carpets, and our \u2018Beau Society\u2019 launch party. Thank God (and Josh) that Kat was there on the day I got engaged.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cNo one could have captured that moment like she did, and I\u2019ll cherish her photos forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

In May 2025, Josh and Hailee officially tied the knot in California.<\/p>\n

Niall Horan<\/h2>\n

Years before she was spotted with Allen, Steinfeld had a brief romance with former One Direction member Niall Horan<\/a><\/strong>. Relationship rumors<\/a> about the actress dating the \u201cSlow Hands\u201d singer<\/a> were first started in early 2018. While Steinfeld said she wanted to keep her relationship \u201cprivate\u201d in a January 2018 interview with Us Weekly<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>the pair were spotted kissing<\/a> while out together in August of that year.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the pair ended up breaking up<\/a> that December. A year after their split, Steinfeld did release a song reflecting on the breakup with the title \u201cWrong Direction,\u201d<\/a> seeming to reference her ex\u2019s boy band past<\/a>. The song goes into the \u201cgut-wrenching\u201d breakup between the two. \u201cI just hate all the hurt that you put me through,\u201d she sings at one point.<\/p>\n

Steinfeld\u2019s first public romance<\/a> was with influencer Cameron Smoller<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>The pair made their red carpet debut in 2017 at an event for the\u00a0Golden Globes, per\u00a0Us Weekly<\/a>. <\/em>They ended up splitting later that year. Besides being an influencer, Smoller is also the Chief of Staff for the media company Gamma, per his LinkedIn<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
