It\u2019s also incredibly good, and its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rottentomatoes.com\/m\/us_2019\">92 percent Rotten Tomatoes score<\/a> testifies to the widespread love this film received in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Adelaide (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrities\/lupita-nyong-o\/\"><strong>Lupita Nyong\u2019o<\/strong><\/a>) is a loving wife and mother of two who is still haunted by a childhood memory of her strange encounter with Red, a doppelganger who looks and sounds exactly like her. While on vacation, Adelaide encounters her now-adult double, who wants to take her place in the family. Adelaide soon realizes this strange encounter is happening to everyone, and the world as she knows it is thrown into chaos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/title\/81026600\"><em>Us<\/em> is streaming on Netflix.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>\u2018Vertigo\u2019 (1958)<\/h3>\n<div id=\"g1-fluid-wrapper-counter-2\" class=\"g1-fluid-wrapper \" style=\"width:662px;\" data-g1-fluid-width=\"662\" data-g1-fluid-height=\"372\">\n<div class=\"g1-fluid-wrapper-inner\" style=\"padding-bottom:56.19335347432%;\">\n<div class=\"mace-youtube\" data-mace-video=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/95o-QM-lz8g?showinfo=0&#038;rel=1&#038;ytp-pause-overlay=1&#038;autoplay=1&#038;enablejsapi=1\" data-mace-video-thumb=\"https:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/95o-QM-lz8g\/hqdefault.jpg\">\n<div class=\"mace-play-button\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Netflix added a bunch of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/tippi-hedren-claims-alfred-hitchcock-sexually-assaulted-her-w447471\/\"><strong>Alfred Hitchcock<\/strong><\/a> classics this month, and <em>Vertigo<\/em> is the best of a very good bunch. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/entertainment-arts-19078948\">Frequently voted by critics as the best film of all time<\/a>, this 1958 thriller about a man\u2019s all-consuming obsession with a woman and her lookalike has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rottentomatoes.com\/m\/vertigo\">93 percent Rotten Tomatoes score<\/a>, which is somehow low for such a widely acknowledged classic.<\/p>\n<p>After a traumatic accident leaves a fellow policeman dead, San Francisco detective Scottie (<strong>James Stewart<\/strong>) retires with a severe case of vertigo and a restlessness that comes with a man who has nothing to do and no one to protect. He\u2019s soon hired by an old college friend to follow his wife, Madeleine (<strong>Kim Novak<\/strong>), around town to make sure she doesn\u2019t harm herself.
