The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/i><\/a><\/span> star Brit Eady<\/strong> is taking legal action against Bravo.<\/p>\n

Eady filed a $20 million lawsuit against the network on Thursday, June 5, for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false light, sexual harassment, hostile work environment and more following her experience filming season 16, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Specifically, the suit addresses an incident airing on the April 6 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Viewers watched Kenya Moore<\/strong><\/a> host some of the cast at the grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa business. During the event, Moore unveiled explicit images<\/a> purportedly of Eady \u2014<\/b> who was not present at the taping.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPhaedra Parks is returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 16. \u201cYou called. I answered \ud83c\udf51#RHOA #S16,\u201d Parks, 50, wrote in a joint Instagram post with Bravo on Monday, July 29. In the image, Parks held a peach as she stepped out of an airplane with her luggage surrounding the staircase. Parks first [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After the event, Bravo conducted an investigation<\/a> and decided Moore could not film with the cast<\/span><\/a> for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n

According to Eady\u2019s lawsuit, Bravo allegedly \u201cknew that the photograph did not depict [Eady] or, at the very least, were reckless or grossly negligent in failing to learn that the photograph did not depict [Eady].\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite Eady\u2019s repeated requests prior to the airing of the episode to see the photograph in question, the defendants allegedly did not show her. As a result, Eady\u2019s lawsuit claims Bravo \u201ccontributed to a hostile work environment for [Eady] and sexually harassed [Eady] by subjecting [her] to unwelcome, offensive and sexualized behavior and comments based on her gender.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the lawsuit, Eady is requesting punitive damages and the immediate removal of the episode from public access on all platforms. If the defendants fail to appear, Eady\u2019s team requested a judgement of no less than $20 million.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/i> has reached out to Bravo and Eady\u2019s attorney for comment. Moore is not listed as a defendant in the case.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, both Eady, 37, and Moore, 54, announced they would not be attending<\/a> The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/i> season 16 reunion taping.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m disappointed to not be a part of the #RHOA 16 reunion taping today,\u201d Moore wrote via X<\/span><\/a> at the time. \u201cPlease know I take full accountability for my actions and deeply apologize to all those affected including Brittney, the cast, crew, guests and viewers. I look forward to seeing you all back on Bravo soon.\u201d<\/p>\n
