Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart<\/strong> was rushed to a hospital and going into cardiac arrest, and fans are worried if they lost him or if he\u2019s still alive. According to his son, Donnie Swaggart, the preacher \u201cnever regained consciousness.\u201d So, does this mean he died, or is Swaggart still alive?<\/p>\n Swaggart went into cardiac arrest on June 15. According to Donnie, the evangelist \u201chad gone into cardiac arrest. He never regained consciousness. We both took turns giving him chest compressions until EMT could get there and they were, I\u2019ve never seen so many people arrive at one time and I want to thank them.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis morning at a little after 8 [a.m.], Gabe and I rushed into Mother\u2019s house,\u201d Donnie said at the Family Worship Center at the time. \u201cDad had gone into cardiac arrest. He never regained consciousness. We both took turns giving him chest compressions until EMT could get there and they were, I\u2019ve never seen so many<\/p>\n Though Jimmy\u2019s condition was stable, Donnie said that \u201chis time will be short.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut they were able to get a heartbeat back,\u201d Donnie added. \u201cRight now he is in ICU and without a miracle, without a miracle, his time will be short. \u2026 But we believe God. We\u2019re not giving up. We\u2019ve already told the doctors we don\u2019t want to hear anything from them. We will make decisions in our own time.
